Horizons continues the charge into summer with two select cuts from one of the most prolific producers in the scene today. Following on from the success of his recent Metalheadz EP Heist comes correct once more showcasing his skills as one of the most accomplished artists in drum & bass. Opting for the warmer climes of ‘Rejected Love’, Heist goes full-on landscape mode for a cinematic slice of pristine D&B that effortlessly drifts through the ether with swathes of synth and subtle bass that draws us in.

It’s left to ‘Charybdis’ to pick up the pace as Heist takes us on tech-infused journey of gnarly fx and industrial sized sub sure to sink dance floors across the land. Deadly in the right hands

I like Charybdis..the other one not so much. Unfortunately, both tunes sound like somebody else.
It´s like he wanted to copy two other artists, dbridge and Break.
That´s honestly how I feel about the sound, no accusations.

He's been producing music on the Rejected Love tip as far back as the Continental Drift EP etc, and the Charybdis does sound like an advancement of the tunes he was making around Mothership/Search Party

Rejected Love is gorgeous, Charybdis does exactly what the classically educated might expect a tune with that title to do.

Out today.
Some very nice detroit vibes on 'Rejected Love'.

Mostly not feeling mr. Heist, but from time to time he likes to surprise (Metal Slug, Nature Of The Sith, Great White) !
The artwork is nice too.
