This one-off OFFBEAT will be at TRAFIK in hoxton Square (OLD STREET..reaaaaaaaaaal close to 333). Come check out the VERSUS between the Brasilian djs S.P.Y. & Tisso (now living in London and promoting their Hotbeatz weekly event at Lock 17 on thursdays) and the Italian djs Arp XP and Marco from Rollers Inc.
ARP XP directly from the beautiful Sardinia, ex S.M.O.K.E. member (Formation Recs), now produces on is own deep and dubby tracks on a frech label from Lille, TOUGHNESS recs belonging to Indy & Natty Ho. Arp XP has been playing at both the SUN AND BASS (S. Teodoro) events and has performed alongside dj SS, Grooverider, Shy FX, Keaton, John B and Bailey.
Marco (ROLLERS INC.) started producing and djing alongside the other half of Rollers Inc. Roberto in 1997 in Turin. They have collborated with Italy's famous GUIDANCE CREW and have played alongside Goldie, Ed Rush, Storm, Randall, MC RymeTyme and many more. Rollers Inc. have travelled from Amsterdam to South America through to covering most (if not all) the italian territory. Their tracks have appeared on the Shebeen Records compilation alongside unique tracks by Photek, Total Science and Digital.
S.P.Y. & Tisso Dj and Producer SPY( Carlos Lima ) 28, originally from Sao Paulo, started his career as a Dj in 1990 playing Acid House incorporating the Hardcore style and achieving the DrumnBass movement in 1993. In 1997 he won the 1st place in the DJ Mixing Championship in Sao Paulo. In London S.P.Y was the 1st Brazilian to Release tracks on METALHEADZ RECORDS . Furthermore, he is the creator of the Hot Beatz project which has the main objective to spread the Brazilian DnB. Carlos djs here back to back with Tisso on this weekly thursday event at Lock 17.
