Very odd, just installed some Fab Filter plugins - was trying them out making a beat , Hard to explain but...everytime i moved channels through the mixer it changed the output sound eg .. when i clicked on the on the kick buss all of a sudden the kick/s would sound extremely sub heavy, move to the master channel it sounds like the kick/s have no punch at all

tried disabling all the plugins - no change , moved to an old track and same thing happens

made me want to rip my hair out any ideas ?
 
Is it something to do with how you have routed the channels? Or maybe changed their output location?
 
i thought that , tried with every channel straight to the mixer- no fx or anything, purely moving through the channels , no solo
