Envelope Question?

Safe guys

I know this might sound dumb but i've been struggling with making basses for some time now. I've been trying to get the initial start of the sound to give off at sharp hit like the sound of a kick to if that makes sense? I've tried playing around with the ASDR but i can't get it at all. I'm mainly using FM8 and Massive if anyone can help as it would be much appreciated as i feel this is holding back my production.

Try using envelope on pitch(at least 1 octave up) with very short attack. It will give you a click sound so make sure to lowpass it.

 

[Sixth Sense]

When using massive the volume is preset to envelope 4 when you start a new sound, so 1-3 are not affecting anything until you assign them.
