Intense Records Present Dubstep Day Part 2:
After the success of the first Dubstep Day last year feat kromestar, F-one, Fused Forces we return for the day of the dub part 2 on Saturday 1st May as part of the May Day Bank Holiday Celebrations.
If you didn’t attend last year, let me tell you what its all about, firstly we have some of the scenes freshest talent and established artists broadcasting on Intense Radio live from the Intense Records shop in Chelmsford, where you can come and watch them mix and chat about all things Dubstep. There will also be exclusive merchandise from the featured labels available on the day and you can get them signed by the artists themselves.
Production Studio Workshop
This year we have also added a production studio workshop, where everyone can get involved and help produce a track with the special guest producers at the helm, we aim to finish at least one track during the day and you never know if its any good it could be the first release on the brand new record label Intense Recordings.
Dubstep Dj Competition
Another addition this year is a Dubstep Dj Competition with the chance of winning a set at the Dubstep Day After Party @ Barhouse the same night, along with some other intense goodies and vouchers. Gilles Peterson has just picked up one of Von D's amazing tracks for his hotly anticipated compilation albums!! Gilles Peterson widely acclaimed as a musical tastemaker, he spreads his influence on music Listeners around the world mostly through his Worldwide radio show on BBC Radio 1.
Three time DMC World Champion and one of the world’s hottest hip-hop DJ's, DJ Craze has been been supporting Von D, including Von D's "Show Me" in his latest mix.

Music has always been a part of JJ's life. With his Dad being a selector and singer for UK based sound system King Tafari Love, there was always some kind of music blaring in the house. Anything from Studio 1 classics to Elvis Presley to Zinc.

After making his first moves in dubstep a couple of years back, Budapest born DJ Madd’s name has since been saturated within the scene. Quickly gaining support from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, Skream, Breakage, Joe Nice, Martyn, 2562, Ikonika and many more; his tunes can already be heard in various sets and leading dubstep radio shows around the globe.

Kitt has been DJing for over 9 years and producing for over 7, currently working with Darren Jay in his studio, he hopes to have his first full release in 2010.
He has played in top clubs such as Fabric and the End as well as venues in Shoreditch, Farringdon, Kent, Newcastle, Brixton, Spain & France. Formerly a resident of FreshFM and SubJamFM and also the brains behind the FLEX imprint in Kent. He has had his own music played on radio, festivals & featured on an internet released CD. Residencies include Shelter @ Raduno, FLEX @ H20 & Urban Soul @ Sugar Lounge.
