Too earlier to call on a few things. Some of the best music of the year came out yesterday... Need to work out if I think Simpler Times is better then The Mistress, etc.

Too early to say, really, and doing this has actually made me feel like I've been a bit disconnected from what's been released during the year, but:

    Best producer - Ivy Lab

Best newcomer producer - Dawn Wall

Best vocalist - Dan Moss (didn't know who to choose but I thought he was great on "The Mistress")

Best club night - Critical Sound (in anticipation of when I hopefully attend one on October 16 in Perth)

Best track - Halogenix - Beyond The Bounds

Best album - June Miller - Robots and Romans

Best remix - The Prodigy - Nasty (Spor Remix) [didn't really know]

Best music video - Fixate -Throwback Therapy

    Best label - Critical Music

Yeah, well, as much as I agree with this quote 1) it's getting way too overused lately and 2) as long as the artist is not begging for votes etc. I don't see it as a bad thing to support someone if you think he's done well. After all it's much like the forum here, you're just sharing with others your views about the music, in this case your favourites.

Dawn Wall is great and all that but surely Nausika could do with a newcomer vote or two...

When I make a list, I always regret some decisions, but I agree with OneSeventy on Nausika being a great newcomer!

You can't put Dawn Wall as Newcomer Producer! It's a known fact that it's a project started by scene veterans!

Every year he'll be doing his annual 14 hour set on the International Space Station and beaming it live to the DNB Awards by telepathy.
