DJ HYPE
He was an early DJ on one of London’s pirate stations, Fantasy FM, and has been popular on the international DJ circuit, landing awards for Best Male DJ and Best Radio DJ at the U.K.’s Hardcore Awards. He is also one of the London radio station Kiss 100’s main attractions, and was a player in Suburban Base’s
compilation series, Drum and Bass Selection. A champion of jungle’s dancefloor purity, DJ Hype is known for his jump up dj sets, headlining and smashing up dancefloors at the monthly Playaz night at Fabric.

16bit
West London dubstep duo 16Bit are two of the most respected up and coming producers working today, their sound influenced as much by techno and electro as well as dub and jungle, with huge distorted riffs and juggernaut bass underpinned by crunching drums. Bursting onto the scene with their huge Chainsaw Calligraphy, the track received Radio 1 airplay from the likes of Kissy Sell Out and Mary Ann Hobbs, with DJs as diverse as Flying Lotus, The Gaslamp Killer and The Scratch Perverts all regularly featuring their productions in their sets. Recent remixes for the likes of Plan B and Noisia’s huge Machine Gun have continued to raise their profile, along with their track JUMP! being used in a Nike commercial. They have recently signed exclusively to
Chase and Status’ MTA records.

SCOUNDREL
threw himself straight into the Breaks/Bass & Mashup scene in 2008. He had decided after many many years of being involved in Underground Dance Music, it was time to take to the stage himself.. In this short space of time he has made a huge impact locally and now Nationally.. His DJ Sets are described as Mental Mashups of Breaks, Dubstep, Old Skool With a few surprises and lots of balls... Playing alongside DJs/Producers from all genres of Dance, including Beardyman, Caspa, DJ Fresh, Chase & Status, Kissy Sellout, Nero, Doorly, Cut La Roc, Far Too Loud, Billy Nasty, Rennie Pilgrem, Ellis Dee, Atomic Hooligan, Plump DJs, Mark Broom, Shut Up & Dance, The Ragga Twins etc etc... The list goes on & on...

The Venue in question is the Uk renowned Waterfront on King
Street in Norwich. The Waterfront is one of the best music
venues in East Anglia and has played host to some of the
biggest acts in all forms of music over the years.
It is owned and run by THE STUDENT UNION.

Muzik policy.
We will be covering as many favoured genres as possible so over
the coming months we have got Dj's like Hype, 16bit, Tc,
Doctor P, Dj Zinc, Shy Fx - Mc Dynamite, Zed bias, Flux Pavillion,
S.p.y, Andy C, Mistajam, High contrast, Netsky, N-Type, Bar 9
to name but a few.
Our aim is to bring all genres together in one venue, we have
two rooms which will be rotating the styles all night every
hour giving you a diverse music choice.
