Audio Troubles with Fruity Loops and ASIO4ALL

I need to use ASIO4ALL to record, but when I set that as my driver, no sound comes out of fruity loops. It has to be set on primary sound, but when it is, I can't record anything because of the lack of sound. Has this happened to anyone before? If so, how did you fix it?

Thanks!

Make sure no other windows or programs are open which require the primary sound driver to obtain sound i.e. multimedia videos on the internet, windows media player open etc. Close all these video/sound programs/windows then change the driver to ASIO.
