this, feels like i have a free mixer.. i think its £30 or so a month goes out of my account and not once have i noticed it.. and i didnt have a job about 8 months of the year ive had it so far.. 1 year to go lol

lol I've though about this but don't really have a full time job to back it up. Working 11 hours a week gets me nothing!

what cdjs do you use with that badboy pat? you looking at getting a third now that you have the extra channels?

Just to add to the HTFR hating, don't use them, EVER. Awful awful bunch of cunts. Me and various mates have had problems with them at some point.

2 of these http://www.decks.co.uk/products/citronic/mpcds6

They're actually pretty good, considering price aswell. Never had any problems with them and would reccomend them to a beginner.

But yeah, hoping to get a Pioneer CDJ350 or CJD400 within the next couple of months. Knowing my patience, ill probably have one by next week though :D

What do use mate?

that grant is smiling down on you isn't it haha.

well spent all my money travelling so i'm using the downgrades of what you have..
http://www.dv247.com/dj-equipment/citronic-mpcd-s3-desktop-cd-player--49396
with a behringer vmx 300
the cdjs are fine really, although the cd reader messes up a little now and then, mixer works and thats about it really - low budget = no frills etc

plus side is i have more to spend on music!

Haha it sure is.

They're still good though mate, plus when your a beginner the main thing is to learn the basics of mixing on a basic set up. I'm hoping this Xone 42 will last me a very long time.

Yeah thats true lol, im sure you know already but Play.com is a very good place to grab mp3s for around 70p a track. Although they didn't have Messiah so i had to get it from dnbarena for £1.49 lol

i've got bits and bobs of play, but for the darker stuff you generally have to go to the more dedicated outlets and such
