All of my February #RCFF Rinse FM radio show links with tracklists are below, last month we saw guest interviews and mixes from :
Kid Andy : Great interview with Andy who took us through the early days of pirate radio raids, Boogie Beat Recs & Weekend Rush right through the full Ice Cream Records & True Steppers story where we heard a wicked insight into the world of chart success and finished on what he is currently doing in music today
Phil Desire & Dawn Labrynth : Phil & Dawn popped in for 15 mins to tell us a little about the parties they both represent in the run up to the Desire & Labrynth re-union at Fire the following day..
Funky Flirt : Flirt came in and surprised everyone with an interview that not only talked about his career in music through the Sunrise FM days, right throught the Weekend Rush days and obviously the Kool FM times but also a heartfelt section on when he went to prison in the late 90’s.. I was expecting me and him to mess about but his interview ended up being one of the if not the deepest one I have done to date,, well worth a listen.. Also Flirt dropped a 15 minute mix to close the show..
Plus a 3 hour 100% Moving Shadow label history show where we went from release 001 up to release 064r which pretty much speask for itself,, all the bangers with a little bit of Shadow history spoken as we went..
All this as well as the usual big ryddims and me getting carried away on the mic, all for free...!!!
