Have been using for a few days and one thing keeps really pissing me off.

I make the beat up to the drop, changing bits along the way.

When i change back to vertical track view and click play on the the kit, it just repeats the same loop although i can see the beat ive just made it just loops the same one over the top of it??!?!

Someone please help before i smash this laptop to bits doing my nut in

or it might be the 'overdub' feature (highlighted red on the pic above!) personally i just make a rough beat in the verticle view and then fiddle the beats in the track view (double click the long colour bit)

    thanks i made it myself.

    ingredients.

    1 x ableton screen pic
1 x copy of ms paint
3 x usage of 'draw straight line' to form a triangle (colour optional)
1 x use of 'air brush' loosely peppered to fill the triangle, with a final freehand sprayed line to finish
