457 is a limited edition 7″ imprint from LXC and Dubmonger specialising in all things dubwise – from rootsy jungle to cosmic dub. Mastered and cut by the vinyl professor LXC and pressed on authentic 7″ lovingly designed by Scott at ithinkitsnice.
The first release is a limited edition 7" with dub style large centre hole and it comprises of Morphy & The Untouchables “Tread This Land” and Flatliners “Raw Fi Dub” and is available to order now over at the Alphacut page.
“Tread This Land” brings everything you could expect from this collaboration, with the rolling drums and tight arrangement of Untouchables and the unpredictable zany dubbing of Morphy. Heavy tribal percussion and a deep bassline set the pace for a rootsy groove while melodica and horns drift in and out of the mix. Add a few lashings of dub and leave to bake. Ready."
