T-FREE --> free 320' mp3 downloads every two weeks

Last week, T-FREE-3EP021 should have been posted.
It didn't happen, but the tunes were released and
500 people already downloaded them from the website.
Now, here is the delayed info for forum users...
(together with the next release)

Budoka from the Phismaol Crew in Darmstadt, Germany,
is a DJ, producer and co-founder of Tilt-Recordings.
He has produced more than 60 Drum & Bass tunes since 2000,
and he had his debut release in 2004 (T!LT#001 vinyl).
Since then 9 tunes were released (7 on vinyl, 2 mp3s),
but unfortunately most of his works never saw a release.
Now he has remastered some of his older tunes for T-FREE:
these are the first and the second of three 3-EPs to come,
showing the history and development of Budoka as a producer.

Tamas + Violent Skillz - "Internal Fear"

The honour of the 100th tune on T-FREE goes to Tamas and Violent Skillz, two young talents who have teamed up for this tune. Both are also producing on their own and also do collaborations with artists such as Soccom, Flame and others.
Tamas is from Austria, runs events in Innsbruck with his mates from the Bassintoxication crew and has been signed to the mp3 and vinyl label LAB and to Kano's Sinuous Recordings.
Violent Skillz from Hungary has also been signed by LAB and has tunes forthcoming on the Ohm Resistance imprint.

T-FREE034: Maztek - "Technologic"

Maztek from Rome in Italia was a guitarist and percussion player
and he was active in different styles like Techno and Trip Hop
before he focussed on Drum & Bass as a DJ, producer and promoter.
He has releases on Combat and Ninth Zone Records amongst other
mp3 labels, also a tune on the Transistor Technology CD release,
and he has more tunes forthcoming on Modulate Data in 2008.

T-FREE035: CJ Weaver - "Steel"

CJ Weaver might be known from his output on the infamous
Darkland imprint, but he also had a proper release on
DJ Zardonic's netlabel Zardonic Recordings in 2006.
"Steel" from his new generation of tunes is a subtle tool
in a minimal technoid style. On first listening it does
not apply the usual Drum & Bass standard sound, but when
played on the dancefloor it unveils it's real qualities.
An innovative detail is that this tune does not have normal
lead sounds but instead a metallic reverb/delay construction
which works with even less melody than the bassline.

T-FREE036: Tenebra - "Dominatrix"

Flame has made himself quite a name since T-FREE007 in 2006:
With two vinyl releases on Leet Recordings and Sudden Def Limited,
CD releases on Pride Recordings and Respect Records and with numerous
mp3 releases on labels such as Combat, Intersection, Flight, Utopia
and Soundkraft, he can no longer be called an unknown artist.
The tune "Dominatrix" by Tenebra (aka Flame and Lex) had been long
planned for the labels Microb and Lust Recordings which unfortunately
both never were realized, and so it is finally unleashed via T-FREE.

In the past two years, Zardonic from Venezuela has made himself
a name to watch in the Drum & Bass scene. With two vinyl releases
on Death Brigade and Flexible Records, mp3 releases on Technorganic
and Foul Play, features on CD releases, a hell lot of free tunes and
netlabel releases (also some on his own netlabel Zardonic Recordings),
he has managed to establish himself not only on DOA but has also made
his way into playlists, record bags and hearts of Drum & Bass lovers.
Now in 2008 he has vinyl releases forthcoming on labels like Mindsaw,
Ohm Resistance, Venom Inc, Dark Asylum, Death Brigade and Molten Vinyl,
again several features on CD releases as well as more mp3 releases on
Mindsaw Digital, Suicide Watch, Digital Coma, MTZ Recordings...
Also watch out for interesting and surprising collabos in the future!

T-FREE037: Histibe - "Microcosmos"

Histibe is a producer and DJ from Kyiv (Ukraine).
Under this name he has built up proper production skillz
and formed his own trademark sound within the past year.
The "Microcosmos" VIP has been released together with
"Latent Mirrors" on M-Atome Digital 001, "Connection"
was featured on the Ukrainian CD label Dnbsession Music,
the Histibe remix of amex + Kaiza's infamous "Sourcream"
will soon be released on Dnbsession Musics, and his tunes
are getting DJ support from artists such as D-Struct,
State Of Mind, NC-17, DJ Hektik, Kantyze and Budoka.
Today, Histibe is still a relatively unknown newcomer,
but be assured that this will change... You can expect
at least one vinyl release and further signings in 2008!

T-FREE038: Phony - "Gravity"

Phony from Guildford (UK) is a new name to watch.
Coming from a background of singing and playing guitar
and drums in bands, he ventured into a lot of styles
and subgenres, started making Drum & Bass tunes four
years ago and has now reached quite a quality level.
His heavy solo productions have proven their ability
to smash dancefloors, also he does collaborations with
artists such as Lean, Subterra, Danny Power and Bazil.
Look out for more tunes in 2008 forthcoming on the
well respected Spanish label Melting Pot and on T-FREE.

T-FREE041: Kaiza feat. amex - "PsyKo"

"PsyKo" is one of two tunes Kaiza has produced in early 2007,
which were the last finished projects before the Amex split,
in an intermedium stage between collaborations and solo tunes
(Amex did "additional production", i.e. he co-worked on details
after the tunes had already been written and arranged by Kaiza),
which had been labelled as regular Amex + Kaiza collaborations
for the sake of promoting the duo's name together back then.

Cyclone is a quite active newcomer from northern Germany.
He came from playing guitar to producing and deejaying
Drum & Bass around the millenium, and today he hosts a
bi-monthly event on two floors entitled "Hight Tension"
and a weekly webradioshow under the same flag. Also, he
has recently started his own netlabel "Anxiety Disorder".

Like Isotop + Shots and The Phalanx, Acid_Lab
is a fresh talent from Palatinate in Germany.
He and his partner Scale shamelessly produce
very reduced tunes that resemble the sound of
No U-Turn and Saigon in 1996 and 1997, bringing
the oldschool Techstep style back to life today.
He has just released a checkworthy EP with four
such tunes on the infamous netlabel "Darkland".
And watch out for more of his tunes forthcoming
on a well known German Drum & Bass label...

Violentbreakz - "Exekutive"

Originally hailing from Palatinate, Violentbreakz
lives in Cologne and is part of the very respected
Quake-Inc crew who are holding one of the best
event series for technoid Drum & Bass in Germany.
He has just recently released 3 tunes digitally on
the famous Basswerk label: 2 tunes via Basswerk Files
and another one via the new sublabel B-Free.
There will surely be more in the future... Watch him!

T-FREE043: Stereotype - "Victory Or Death"

Stereotype is a newcomer from Chernigov (Ukraine).
So far, he has released tunes on quite some netlabels:
Cyclone's "Anxiety Disorder", Russian "Future 13"
and "Steklopaket Infinity", Italian "Subculture Digital"
and finally the very infamous "Darkland" imprint.
His productions are notably improving, he keeps producing
many tunes and more releases are scheduled: a digital EP on
"Mind Outside Recordings" and a tune on the CD compilation
"Forbidden Researches 2" of the well respected Ukrainian
label "Don't Panic Recordings", amongst others. He will
probably make himself a well known name in the Techno-DNB
scene, and T-FREE presents his roller "Victory Or Death".

T-FREE044: kr4y - "Jerk"

kr4y, originally hailing from the Netherlands and currently living in Bristol (UK),
has been hugely influenced by Techno and House of the minimal and underground type
from his first steps in production at the tender age of 8 up to this very tune.
Having worked all his way from composing on the piano and sequencing in DOS trackers
to today's production technology, he has practically dedicated all his life to music.
Just recently, he and Arje have launched their Drum & Bass netlabel "Beat Addiction",
and now he shows his ideas and talent with this very, VERY technoid tune "Jerk".

T-FREE045: Asphexia - "Predeath"

Asphexia are a duo, consisting of Mikhail Tovkach
and Marina Tovkach (aka Faib) from Moscow, Russia.
They are brother and sister working together on
music in both deejaying and producing Drum & Bass
(also, Faib does produce Dubstep on a solo tip).
They recently had their debut on the HSMU netlabel
and "Predeath" is their second tune getting released.
They have collaborations going with quite a lot of
producers well known in the Techno-DNB scene, and
we will probably hear more of them in the future!

T-FREE046: Destination Unknown - "Killing Fields"

Two years after the supposedly last Destination Unknown tunes
have been released on T-FREE-3EP006, and one year after a lost
collabo has popped up on T-FREE-3EP019 ("Boulderdash"), yet
another lost, forgotten tune re-appeared on an old harddisc
of Dementia (formerly known as Insanity / Destination Unknown).
Judging by the sound, it's from the late Destination Unknown era,
produced shortly before or after "Mechanical Heroes" (T-FREE006).
