Old school "Jazzstepish" tune, probably from early-mid 90s

Hey, need some help.

I heard this song on Origin UK on Tuesday. It was an oldschool tune that had a pretty soulful intro, and this proper diva vocal performance (pretty sure it wasn't Diane Charlemagne on vocals)

Just from the tempo and general vibe of the tune, I would say it's something from the 90s, early to mid 90s. And I think it's close to the vibe on stuff that's on Creative Wax and possibly even Good Looking Records.

After the soulful intro it switches and drops to some drum work with an 808 bass around it, with the odd amen here and there. The amen is never too prominent in the track, it just comes kinda like a drum fill at the end of every 4 bars or so.

I can't remember any of the lyrics of the tune, that's as much as I can remember.

Any ideas?

was the vocal like a complete song or just a few of the same lyrics repeated, like a hook/chorus thing....
