zeitgeist just means - the general outlook of a cetain period..

    anyway ..

this video on religion is nothing new.. this story is an olllllllld story.. the zeitgeist video just opened a few peoples eyes to it..

you can read so much stuff on it ..

and i thoroughly believe it .. the bible the sun the dates the months .. its all just personification.

    gods sun = gods son

    ask bds for deatils :D

but serious, the further back intime you look this has always been the influence and knowledge of the personifyers (if thats a word ) ..

jesus has a shepheards staff for fucks sake hahaha ..

be the sheep if you will sheeple ..

next time your at the beach , or a lake or something .. look at the sun glistening over the water ..

    then you will see ..

gods sun (son ) walking on water :D

its all true .. just personification. look closely and between the lines..

theres so many books studying the whole thing.

are you trying to say that you believe the film? or that you just believe some of the stuff they said cos its based on ideas that have already been around? did you read anything on that page?

'gods sun = gods son' only works in english, and the bible wasnt written in english

have a look at this ..

edit - the video was crap.. just look around and read stuff..

there are many many videos on it .. you can make up your own mind .. but i think the whole personification of jesus, god, the disciples, and it all is a sham..

but.. i already thought this anyway.

there is no god , heaven , jesus, and all that crap.. just .. no ..

when your dead.. your dead.. your energy may go to another place.. i believe this, maybe re-incarnation, your soul/energy perhaps lives on and goes elsewhere..

but as for going to heaven and hell and all that shit..

no .. hell and heaven is just good and bad in its basic forms, do good for good things, bad for bad things.. people just taken it so literally its spiralled to such the extreme that churches are cashing off it ..

religion = best/worst business in the game.

ethix going to town on this....
i just read an article on iceland in Esquire (no i dont subscribe, it was on the desk at work). Iceland has been incredibly isolated from the rest of civilisation and missed out on the enlightenment of putting science ahead of superstition like most other countries. It also missed out on organised christianity. This now means that in this day and age 54.4% of Icelanders believe in elves, in fact even those who dont believe have thier fears and builders and contractors of all sorts regurely seek the advice of local experts before tearing up countryside etc etc.

It is human nature to want to believe in something, and if its not god it could be elves.

I think your spastic if you believe in either.

Theres so much on this subject! it goes deep! the monetary system is the one that gets me most! check out zeitgeist 2 its all about money/the future well interesting, im not sayin to believe whole heartedly in it, it will just let you see the bigger picture if you've been subjected to mass media all your life. People need to just understand what brainwashing means before rejecting a conspiracy via stereotypes etc

I have a friend whos christian and he recently fucked his girlfriend and I told him he was going to hell but then he just said that god will forgive him.

I was just like LOL nice loophole.

What I can't understand is why someone whos Schizophrenic gets put into a mental hospital but someone who prays to an imaginary figure, that apparently made the whole universe and will answer their wishes, is allowed to be with the rest of of the normal people?

the point the maker of zeitgeist was trying to make was valid.

he did get a couple of things here and there wrong or out of context.

BUT..with subject matter like is pointed out in these films you HAVE TO expect certain people to try their utmost to discredit it.

For instance the guy who runs that conspiracy science site explains away the fact that world leaders (George Bush, Henry Kissinger, even Tony Blaire etc...) worship a 40ft stone statue of an owl demon called molech and make mock human sacrifices to it on a private estate in the U.S for 2 weeks out of the year by saying this >>

People really should look into this stuff.

IMO its the same as any of these kinds of movies. If you're smart enough to be watching these kinds of movies, you smart enough to make up your own mind about the information presented. I mean, at the end of the day, its just theories and propoganda, but its coming from the other side (and usually biased towards the maker's own opinions, Michael Moore being a good example). Its to you whether you think they are right or wrong.
David Icke probably says it best, "There are no real truths in the world, only information that has been repeated time and time again. The thing that important is what you choose to think when the information has been presented. I am not asking you to believe me, I'm asking you to listen and make up your damn mind."

    yea well said indi ,

its just interesting to hear the flip side of things.

    also,

you gotts ask the question ... but so what ??

so what if its all a story blown out of proportion, so whatr if people believe in this and that, and your'e not sure whether its true or ever existed, so what if its an old story thats been changed to suit our understanding over time .

all these theories on the subject dont make you better off for knowing or understanding them. its nice to hear them ..

but a christian for instance, isnt exactly worse off for having beliefs, than i am for being an atheist .. i mean , im in no better place and i dont think they are either.

its something we will always speculate over and never be able to pin down .

stuff like nwo ect is different.. and im trying to learn as much as possible. but i still think alot of it is far fetched.

    each to their own.

"Religion is the opiate of the people" - Karl Marx

Marxism takes a pretty dim view on such things.
