    are there any recommended ones you know of? i think i need to download another one. doesnt download full song from youtube. not all the time. i need a high quality download converter

    use torrents, provided you already have a license for the song which i assume you do.....

    i use jdownloader, whack in the youtube URL and it'll give you all your quality choices, usually offers .mp3 as an extension as well

    if you got a standard soundcard you should be able to record what you are listening to.
    Simply play the vid and record into audacity or some other free program.
    job done

    mmm yeah but theyre mainly for downloading films is what i thought anyway.
    my mate runs his reggae mp3s first to this enormous reel to reel tape machine before he listens to them, and whilst the sound is just amazing i do find it rather peculiar.
    i use tape for its effect on the sound, tape saturation, tape compression and just general tapey ness. i use a normal tape deck though, and youd be surprised how well normal tape holds up to the reel to reel version. i always had this idea id get a vhs and ssee what taht might sound like. tape is great.
