following on from the "most embarrassing" thread. post the bands that you've seen live that you personally feel were the best.

Hard to narrow it down but gotta be

    Deftones!!!
My all time favourite band since i was about 13. Waited until i was nearly 20 before actually getting to see them live. it was immense apart from the fat bird standing in front of me swaying from side to side blocking my view with every other sway hahaha.

    The Prodigy
Saw them @ reading festival when i was like 15/16 the stage show was immense and the whole place was pumping. Would love to see em again tho.

    American Head Charge
Saw these guys 3 times. They put on one hell of a show and if you were at the front of the crowd you would always end up drunk cos the band was endorsed by yeigermeister (or however you spell it) and the singer had like 10 bottles on stage and would jus hold it over the crowd and pour into ppls mouths. Shame these guys gave it up tho, man the front man had one hell of a scream lol!

    crystal castles
    streets

worst ever: angels an airwaves. they were on mainstage at reading and ive never herd such shit from one mans mouth..

Iron Maiden - My first gig. Was wicked.
RHCP with James Brown supporting. Millenium Stadium was a sell out. Brilliant.
Slayer - SImply for the energy. It was absolutely mental
Not a band, but Ice Cube. Been to a lot of Hip Hop gigs, but never seen someone hype the crowd like Ice Cube. Plus he pulled out all his bangers, not promoting his new album like everyone said it was gonna be.

Well this a sell out in a pretty big stadium. They had no choice but to put effort in! And James Brown got the crowd grooving.

You wanna talk Mosh Pits, the Slayer/Slipknot gig I went to was intense. When the played Angel of Death the place went mad. These were big bloked in their 40s mainly. Flailing arms around. Mental.

Yeah Slipknot were always decent, saw a band called inflames, swedish metal i beleive, who were decent too
Then you have all the regulars such as RHCP, Maiden, Metallica who ive seen twice and were awesome both times, RATM even rate Offspring, No FX and Blink the time I saw them.
Recall the Darnkness being jokes too, with the lead singer arriving on a pair of massive flying tits!
