the 1st release from the dnb netlabel, exegene (which i co-own)

Hard fast drums with deep dark basslines, and trance-like melodies.

Nebulae---pretty solid tune, the main melody is pretty sweet, but it kinda starts getting a bit tiresome by the second drop....other than that, this is a pretty solid tune

    thanks dude :towelie:

yea, it does get a bit repatative, but i felt it needed to have more after the 2nd drop, but i couldnt quite work out what, so its the 1st section again

really like from this day forward, wicked intro nice and floaty. drops and builds well as well. bit lacking in sub when it does drop but nice textures. i like it. gets wickedf after the second drop but you wanna drop that earlier 4 mins in is well late. a rearrange would work well. i used to do long floaty things but found over time better to change more quickly builds quicker. 4 minutes is an age when youre playing live.... but wicked sounds keep it up.

nebulae would be a good intro track but an arse to mix (live!). like those beats tho. intro goes on a bit long. reese could be fatter try layer a few synths. nice wjhen it drops bakc in but does mauybe go on a bit, perhaps shen it or revise the endign..

wicked good effort fine first release for exegene

    nice one

I wasnt into From this Day too much, but Nebulae sets a crazy mood with somber chords mixed with those intense drums. yeah! :uberlaugh

both high quality, but i agree more sub bass.

also that photo on http://www.exegene.com/ fits the mood of these tracks perfectly.
