    The Syndicate Blackpool – Nov 20th 2010

Devotion Presents WRETCH 32 & JODIE CONNER
PLUS DJ Support by Darwood, JFK and Lee ‘Jester’ Watson

Always trying to push boundaries at The Syndicate we proudly present you with two of the hottest acts to hit the charts in 2010.

    WRETCH 32

With performances across the country and Europe at huge events like the BBC Weekender, Glastonbury and supporting Chipmunk on his recent tour, Wretch 32 prepares to get back on the road supporting Chiddy Bang as he joins the elite pack of UK Urban Stars!

His first release ‘Traktor’ coming through Ministry of Sound/Levels Recordings is already building up an unstoppable momentum with Zane Lowe calling it ‘Stupid Fresh’ making it his Hottest Record In The World! Annie Mac, Mistajam, Trevor Nelson, Ras Kwame and Seani B are already making it an essential tune for their shows along with it being added to 1Xtra’s List!!

Having previously worked with the likes of The Streets, Tinie Tempah, Bashy and Scorcher. It looks like he will follow in Tinie’s footsteps with Traktor already developing a huge ground swell in the same way that Tinie’s breakthrough track Pass Out did...Expect BIG things from Wretch 32 over the coming 12 months!!!!

Jodie Conner is the stunning voice behind huge hits such as Tinchy Striders ‘IN MY SYSTEM’ and Roll Deeps number one smash ‘Good Times’
Having completed the Roll Deep club tour, which included performances at Glastonbury, Wakestock, Wireless and dates in Ibiza, Jodie’s now about to embark on the MOBO tour alongside Skepta, Aggros Santos and Scorcher, and the Clubland tour featuring stars like Tinchy Stryder and Basshunter.

Her fans include Chipmunk and Tinie Tempah, but it was a few years back that Soul II Soul’s Jazzie B began to nurture Jodie’s talent, introducing her to professional studios and the art of good song writing.

Now on the verge of releasing her debut solo single, ‘Now Or Never’, a track completed 18 months ago (and originally earmarked as a Wiley or Roll Deep single), Jodie’s also been spending time in the studio with RocNation writers Makeba Riddick (Beyonce/ Rihanna) and James Fontalroy (Chris Brown/ Leona Lewis/ Ciara) in preparation for her album.

Her stunning voice and beautiful good looks make her an un-missable act.
Along with DJ support from Darwood, Lee ‘jester’ Watson and JFK this is a must see event
