Watched SummerSlam last night and fairplay wrestling has gone downhill since they made it PG rated.

Seriously running out of decent story lines and the wrestlers are the worst crop ever.

Anyway during the title match, a drunk fan ran into the ring and tried taking the ref out with some kind of submission move. It was not in the script or staged and security dragged him out. With the wrestlers and ref thinking WTF and a little shaken, they ended the match 10 seconds later just to get out of there!

Bunch of muscular men in tight fitting pants sweating and rolling around on the canvas. Not for me.

I don't care what anyone says, WWF from 1999 - 2002 was AMAZING.

Watched it on sky the other day, it's gash.

There was a match on Sky the other day from 1999 and it still looked decent.

    Mick Foley was the best.

    He had some brutal matches.

I know it's fake, but how fake it getting thrown 20 foot through a table, thrown off a ladder into barbed wire, getting slammed on drawing pins, hit with a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat and taking like 15 chairshots to the head whilst being handcuffed.

yesh!!, i remember watching 'Mankind' v the Undertaker, and Foley got thrown off the top of a cage into the nice springy n soft commentators table! very fake, but looked awsome!! lol

also in same match, he had a tooth through his lip... it might be all fake n bull. but u still gotta be pretty tough to be thrown about..
