A series of online videos showing Christians caught in the ‘spirit’ ‘dancing to drum & base’ have upset a number of believers.
The Baptazia videos from the Super Sunday series posted on YouTube by UK's 'Airloaf' synch drum & bass / Jungle music with footage of church services.
Clips mainly show Black Christians caught up in the spirit dancing and jumping around to the sound of drum and base music.
Drum & bass crew Noisia are featured in the first instalment of the three part series with other big names from the scene like Skibadee / Fun & DJ Ruffstuff.
The first video from the series has received more than 60,000 views since it was posted a month ago in November. Comments from viewers include: “if church was like this id be there every Sunday” and “These videos are the best ones on YouTube ever!”
A number of Christians have been offended calling for the videos to be removed, according to online reports.
According to Airloaf‘s posting, the third video will be the last from the baptazia series.
