Right then lads...got a site where you have £100m to spend on your world cup fantasy team and you can set up a mini league and out a wager down which all goes into the "pot"

Thought if we can get enough people to have a go on here it could be a laugh and could also make someone some money! Ive set up my team but need people who are up for joining a league. We can put the wager at anything we want....if we could get some ideas of how much people are willing to put in that would be cool. Im up for putting anything in really £5 seems reasonable. But if more people will join if its £2 then whatever.

Makes the world cup a little bit more fun!!

    Here are the rules:

    Creating Your Squad
Choose 15 players to form your squad, one who must be nominated as your captain. You have £100m to spend and must choose:

    2 goal keepers
    5 defenders
    5 midfielders
    3 strikers
Once you’ve chosen your squad, you must select which 11 players you’re going to have on the pitch at the start of the tournament. You can choose any of the following team formations: 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2 or 4-5-1.

    Scoring Points
Only players in your ‘current XI’ score points, with your captain scoring double points. Points are provided live during every game via our 'live scores' tab, found above. Our new points system is provided by FSB Points, using OPTA live stats as the basis and offers our most comprehensive performance measurement yet. FSB Points are awarded to (and taken away from) players for their attacking play, defensive play, appearance on the pitch, and fouls. Penalty shoot-outs DO NOT count for scoring purposes. All players will score points for the following actions:

    Attacking Points:
Goal Scored by a Goal keeper: 50
    Goal Scored by Defender: 40
Goal Scored by a Midfielder and Striker: 25
    Hat trick bonus: 25
    Assist: 10
    Penalty miss: -10
    Own Goal: -25
    Shot on target: 5
Completed passes in the final third: 1
    Defensive Points:
    Tackle won: 2
    Blocked shot: 2
    Clearance: 2
    Interception: 2
    Save: 2
    Penalty Save: 25
    Clean Sheet (per 10 minutes)
    Goalkeeper: 2
    Defender: 1
I.E. For a 90 minute clean sheet, Defenders will score 9 points. If a goalkeeper concedes his first goal in the 32ndminute, he’ll score 6 pts.

    Conceded Goal
    Goalkeeper: -10
    Defender: -5
    Appearance Points:
Named in the starting eleven: 15
    Brought on as sub: 5
Bonus per 10 minutes played: 1
    Fouls:
    Handball: -5
    Yellow card: -10
2nd Yellow card (and red card): -15
    Straight red card: -25
Scores and leaderboards will be updated daily on the Game Website.

    Substitutions and Transfers
During the tournament, you can make unlimited changes to your team by making substitutions, promoting players from your bench into your starting XI. This allows you to have more than one line-up each day to cover every match and maximise your point scoring opportunities. So for example, if England play in the first kick off of the day, you would want your England players in your starting XI for that match. Then if you had a German player amongst your substitutes and Germany played in a later match, you would want to swap your England player with your German player for that match. Both your England players and German players would score points for you. Your new line up is effective from the next scheduled kick-off.

You’ll also be able to make up to 20 transfers during the tournament, to bring new players into your squad. New players will be available for scoring from the next scheduled kick-off eg. If you had Rooney in your team he would score in any matches he played whilst in your team. If you then transferred Rooney out for Messi, Messi would score points for you from the start of the next scheduled match. Any points that Rooney had scored whilst in your team would be added to your team’s total score.

    Team Captain
You’ll be able to change your captain 5 times during the tournament. If you transfer your captain out of your squad, the incoming player automatically takes on the captaincy without using up a captain change. Captain changes are effective from the next scheduled kick-off.

    Mini Leagues
As usual you’ll be able to challenge your mates in your own private league. Just get 5 or more mates together and see if you can claim bragging rights at the end of the game!

    -------

Also the winner of the mini league automatically goes into a draw to win £1000 so come on football heads get involved!!!!

To be fair u can make a pretty decent squad with the £100m.

Can u do bets against mates on there though?

I only like this one because u can put £5 in between sqay 10 people and the winner gets £50....cmon u gamblers where are ya?!?!?!
