windows vista help

hi guys. i need help bad my pc just started to lag on a lot of pro. like reason and recycle and pro tools. idk somebody said because of the programs but i paid for them they are not cracked any advice

Have a look on Task Manager it shows you what programs are using what % of the computer speed so you can shut down anything that's eating up space to ease up the strain on whatever you're using.

Hey,

Vista by defaults uses a lot of stupid services.
You can tweak this following this guide :

http://www.speedyvista.com/services.php

The Windows search service (necessary for indexing your hard drive) can eat a lot of sys ressources so be sure to shut it down. As you can see there are a lot of other services to disable.

I did that on my Macbook Pro and now Vista works like a charm.
