How do the controllers recharge? Or do you have to replace batteries?

Bollocks, they eat AA batteries. No recharge options at all. You use rechargable batteries if you want to keep the costs down.

yer stock controllers just take AA's so you either replace them or get rechargable AA's

You can get battery packs for Wii remote and then you get a kinda dock that you can stand them in to recharge
