Can some FL guru teach/tell me how to make good drum beats because at the moment they sound like I'm playing an actual set of drums (i.e. baaaaadly)

Thanks for the help !

i dont use FL but i kno you draw in the drum pattens. (inless its changed)

Make sure every sample is clean sounding and the sample starts at every transient. (this will make it tight)
use multiple kicks and snares to give it some beef.
ie a heavy sounding kick and punchier sounding kick.
same with snares etc etc.

layer with some breaks, high pass some, low pass some.
keep building until you like it.

use shakers to give it some shuffle,

using ghosts notes (quieter hits) in between kicks and snares with also give it some groove.

hope this helps, my brain isint working this mornin so it may not make sense. hah

its about knowing the music you produce, if you know dnb drum patterns you should be able to think about the structure or you drum lines and play with them till you get what you want in dnb drums for me at least are the foundation of your tune so take your time on them and play around till your on to something it comes in time so make sure that you have time in life to put in production and it will come to ya keep it up bro big ups from SICKorWELL
