We had a similar thread at the end of last year, and it was pretty interesting:

I'm thinking Kid Drama and the Heart Drive duo will have some quality output next year. I'm expecting Homemade Weapons to come with more big things after creeping his way into the spotlight this year. Reza is also someone to watch for me.

Frankee, Dimension, Etherwood, Frederic Robinson, Fre4knc, Fourward, Clarity, Tokyo Prose, Joe Ford

these spring to my mind, probably missed a few though might add them later

i'm banking on 2 more releases that sound like a remix of his last 8 tunes before people realise he's a one trick pony that doesn't really have a clue what he's doing, and forget his existence all together.

    other than that......me, innit :teeth:

After listening to his latest EP I'm inclined to agree

And to be fair he's never gonna top Behemoth so he might as well just give up.

    Agreed on all these.

I'm hoping Narratives continues to make strides. They're up there with Exit and Samurai for quality.

My favorite producers right now are Clarity, Skeptical, Stray, Dub Phizix, Overlook and Ruffhouse. I'm looking forward to their output. There's so much talent out there right now.

Also really looking forward to the Aux guys and their take on 170 (despite them always seeming like they want to separate themselves from dnb). ASC, Sam KDC, Synth Sense, Indigo, Synkro etc.

I'm wondering if Mefjus can continue his ridiculously good output in 2014. Not sure how long he can keep using them drums for

Skeptical, Nickbee and Icicle have albums coming in 2014 which should be sick

Hopefully footwork/nu jungle/ juke is here to stay. It's such a refreshing to take on dnb.

Hopefully Rockwell gets away from the noise step he's been making. He's too musically talented to make oscillator porn.

If his last 2 releases on Ingredients are anything to go by, I think Response will be big in 2014...

Last year I said Sam KDC, now look at him...

    This year i'm saying Instant.

Not saying i'm right all the time or whatever, but i'm right all the time.

    :)

Yes to Narratives. Can't get enough of Synkro and Indigo at the moment. So Happy they're making 170.

I imagine footwork and juke is something that will stay in 160/170 for a while, and like you said, definitely is refreshing.

Rockwell needs to go back to 2010.

    Yes to all of those.

Overlook's big but he's coming with much bigger very soon.

Other names I'm keeping a close eye on are Hysee, Paragon, Mecca, Ricky Force, Infiltrate, Fearful, Homemade Weapons and Greenleaf

In terms of young labels coming into their own pushing a sound that's been a little lacking in recent years I think Narratives and Rupture and 117 are the ones to watch.

Hoping to hear a bit more grit and energy and rawness in 2013, not in a techy way, just good fundamentals, beats, basslines, samples and strings. Weighty tunes that can bulk up a set of stripped back minimal jams without overpowering them and still hold their own in a set of other weighty tunes, if that makes sense.

Also hoping to hear loads and loads of dancehall crossover tunes. The time is right IMO.

One thing I've noticed towards the end of 13, maybe because I listen to so much minimal, is that actual sub bass is back in a big way.

Stealth. He's been killing it for the last half of this year, very excited for his output in the new year!

Im hoping Mefjus will get some big releases next year because his sound has changed a lot. Frankee and Stealth though... can't wait.
