It's a hell of a lot of money mate. But yeh seeing as it's my birthday I'll be spending 4x that, thats if I'm not poor by the time it comes around.

47 quid is far too expensive for what you get. Its no different to any other event during the year except you stop at 12 for 30 seconds to get a hug from the pilled up mongy next to you. Half the line up wont turn up because they are booked in 5 different raves all in different corners of the country. Anyway, ignore my negativity, im sure you'll have a wicked night!

It would be amazing, i know a few people who went last year and said it was the best night of their life by far. I assumed everyone on this forum would be hyped for it.

Theres paying money for a ticket to getting into an event on NYE, then there's taking the absolute piss. It's exactly the same down Bournemouth for One Nation NYE, £30 to get in and £50 VIP (to get access into the royal box).

Thinking im just gonna go to some house party and spend the money on some chop... (y)

i can understand the 40 price reli seeming as its new year and everyone involved in running the night and working there will wanna be paid more cos of it being a bank holiday etc and ting but yer in this current economic crisis i rekon alot of people will be put of by the price.

ive never been to a new years rave but from what i hear every rave on tht night books the same big names with 15 or so dj's on each line up becos half of em dont show up. u get andy c and hype playing 5 events in one night, from bournmouth to birmingham. its stupid and obv cant be done so if ur really looking forward to seeing certain DJ's then you've basically been robbed if they dnt show up. Its a gambel really but if ur just up for the good times and having a rave on new years then its all good in the hood, but dnt set urself up for disapointment.
