    right i go to the gym about 3/4 times a week yeh, start off on some heavy weights do them for about 10 minutes.
    go onto the running machine usually on there for about 10-15 minutes pretty rapid.
    then i go on the rowing machine do 2000 metres as fast as i can (almost kills me)
    next i go on the bikes going pretty fast for about 20 mins maybe more depending on mood.
    now does any1 find it as demoralising as me??
    u do all this fucking work come out the gym lookin like a paedo whos just had his way with hundreds of kids in a row and u barely notice any difference in fitness and shit like that.
    just me???

    just keep at it, perserver and make sure you diet is good otherwise all your hard work wont make a bit of difference.

    I used to train about 4 times a week for about 3 years + and used to work in a gym a few years back but I dont go at all any more sine about 4 months ago.. I trapped some nerves in my back when training that caused massive problems, I walk for at least an hour sometimes 2/3 hours a day now, I hate doin no exercise!

    went for 2 years solidly and havent been for about 6 months. really wanting to get back into it, but im always so knackered after work

    This is spot on.

    If you go to the gym but don't have the right diet it wont do anything for you.

    I go to the gym 3/4 times a week, I don't do much cardio tho cos I go to the gym to help put on weight, so I mainly just do free weights.

    Do you have a mega metabolism? I do. I hit the gym religiously for years with no result.

    These days I just go swimming. It's too expensive buying all the food I'd need to eat to put on weight.

    4-6 small meals a day.
    maximuscle progain

    works for me and i have the highest metabolism going.

    steadily gaining 1-2 lbs of muscle a week

    Gym 2/3 times a week and Thai Boxing 2/3 times a week. Used to do more gym but I moved and it's a 1/2 hr drive away, don't wanna change gym cos it's best equipped and cheapest in my area, (£17.99 per month off peak).

    Do lots of cardio in gym, usually an hour each time + some weight. Least once a week I'll go gym before breakfast and do extended cardio, that's very good for dropping body fat.

    If you ain't seeing a difference it's combination of / either diet, regularity, intensity, or not doin enough cardio, you might have the muscle underneath, but it's covered by body fat.

    I have a very high metabolism, but I have quite a small frame anyway.

    Yeah, I find it hard to eat regular meals when I'm at work cos I'm either busy or off out on site. But I really notice the difference when I stick to it.

    I'm 6"6 and a beanpole basically. I eat foolish amounts anyway. Let alone getting stoned. I once ate 2.5 subways b2b when I was stoned in the space of about an hour. :S

    go to the gym 7 days a week, well i did do until the gym has now closed on a sunday. mainly work on upper body/arms, do 20 sets on individual muscle groups on that day then switch but do abs every day.

    run 2 km a night and row 4000 m a day.


    used to be into drugs n shit but now am mega fit and love it, i am addicted to the gym but never use muscle supplements etc, just eat well, n only get pissed up on a weekend

    Man same as me, I'm like a food disposal unit I just eat an eat an it dissapears... Really need to get into the gym just cant find the motivation

    3 times a week. Just do weight training though, but i super set certain excercises to help with cadio and i also play football in the week.

    Its annoying how easily muscle can be lost though, you can train for ages, go on hol for a bit and you'll def notice a difference when you come back!

    regular small meals are key. fish, chicken, turkey, eggs, peanut butter.

    u can eat 1000 calories in one sitting but your body will never be able to process all of that.

    ive been taking the dieting and gym seriously for about 2 months now and have seen a massive difference. and i was a twig!

    the workout and lifting weights is only 20% of it, the other 80 being you diet!

    no matter how fast you metabolism is or how skinny you are, lift heavy and eat everything in sight and u will get big!

    Plus.. the zoot after the gym is your reward :)
