I have been using the PC for producing jungle for some time and it works quite well. But what i miss is the ability to work really intuitive. A PC offers way too many diversions which hinder from effective work.
I'm no retro addict but i would like to get some production environment with limitations. Perhaps the limitations will work for me?
Since i'm still pupil and i don't have any considerable earnings i'm interested if the old akai mpc 60 would be suitable. I don't care about the LoFi-Sound and there seems to be a good firmware update...
However, are there other similar alternatives?
