My girlfriend bought me some home mix twin cd mixer lol and its ok to mix tracks but looks like a heap. Want to look more the part so im gonna spend 300 pound on some better decks and a mixer. Can anyone advise me what i should go for with tha sort of cash new or used. I want them to look cool and hopefully have a scratch function and play copied cd/r-cd/rw, things which the homemix system dont do :(

thanks for reading, MC Redline

You'll struggle to get anything decent for £300, a pair of CDJs 800 Mk2s is the best bet but including a mixer you're looking at at least £400 I recon, and thats mad cheap.

The only decks I've ever used at raves or on camera were pioneers, I just did a bit of scratching I copied off the internet:

Allow me to be brutally honest.
Don't spend too much money. It doesn't sound like your in it for the long run.
Want to look more the part
Go with what you can afford and research online for reviews.

Or buy a microphone.

If you disagree and your adamant that mixing is what you want to do and take seriously, then get 1210's or pioneer cdjs.
If you want to "look the part" nothing else will suffice anyway. £300 isn't gonna get you far sadly.
But if your serious, buy once, buy right. If you did decide you wanna give up, well the standard hoodlum issue equipment holds it value. Fisher price doesn't.

wtf? lmfao

there's no shame in making music videos and porn, cameras are a good way to go back in time and if you're as young as your avatar I'd suggest recording almost everything, time is being eaten by an evil monster, but we can cheat him with a digital camera...

Fisher price doesn't.

Man I used to have an awesome fisher price electric guitar but my mate Geoffrey smashed it acting out jimmy Hendrix little blighter...
