.. if you wouldnt have discovered the beauties of drum and bass, regardless why?
Still with long black hair.
Wearing a leather jacket.
With extra large beanie for the winter months.
And musically lost.
Absolutely no idea!!!!
Propbably be in prison in all honesty, or a complete mashead
Used to be a right little cunt, always out and fucking about with my mates etc
Started DnB production and started to stay in more. Got with my woman (now 6 years)
Stayin in and making beats helped me get my ass back in the right order i went to Uinversity and got a BA Hons in Music
Now looking at becoming a teacher
Err...listening to another genre of music
There is more to life than music
Still in the same place at the moment, different places on the weekend. Obviously.
If I listented to RnB id be in South Jazima, Madagasgar... I reckon
damn your a good example for us all!! this should definatly be used in the great drum and bass debate!!!
as much as thats true, music is a large defining part of life, imo in this day and age u cant have one without the other...
Along with music u have the people u assosiate with, how you spend your free time and in turn the opportunities both of these bring.
Drum n bass is an extremely inspiring genre of music and id hazard a guess at 60% of people who listen to dnb as their main source of music have either, been to a rave, started mixing or at least tryed it, or producing...
now take that to rock/metal/indie, u see alot of them form bands..
RnB/pop.... well, thats ur average joes afaic
hope u get my drift, maybe dnb/music in general hasnt had any influence on your life at all (which i doubt) but for alot of people it has.
Id kill myself cause i Couldnt live without dnb.................Not
This thread is utter pointless. Obviously just listen to some other genre of music more
i still love the uk hip hop so it wouldn't affect me to much, would just keep busting out harry love and lewis parker etc
nah. i dont think so. what about the people that produce or put really a lot of time into dnb, lets say promoters, mcs and so on.. dont think everyone would be doing the same just with some other music?
I'd probably be a successful entrepreneur without a cannabis dependency and smashin the fackin granny out of the fittest women on the planet before I pick a small selection of 30 to be my permanent wives....
In all seriousness though, d&b has made (and still does) me feel like no other music has made me feel. That tingly feeling that you get and all the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when you listen to a tune that you love at that moment....you can't beat it!!
not to mention the fact that a heavy drum and bass bassline can give me the feeling of 'ecstasy' without any drug or intoxication!
