Where is that Dub / Jungle / DnB Laser Gun Sound From?

The sound I'm referring to can be heard in Kahn - Dread (Gorgon Sound Mix) at 0:50

I've heard this sound in a number of tracks and I am wondering if it is being sampled from a classic tune or if this is something that producers are creating with a dub siren or synthesizer. I am trying to get as authentic of a sound as possible

dub siren? we would use third or fourth generations samples from jungle tunes, but they were sourced from sound clashes, most probably.

or is it dub signal box... i forget what its called, but some samples are ok to nick from old jungle tunes.

very few had access to an actual dub signal box, but look them up on youtube they are very common and built into reggae sound gear

the principle is easy enough, its resonance LFO and pitch bends, isnt it?
