Is anyone in agreement with me no-ones bringing out extra special tunes no more, i look back 3 or 4 years ago and there were so many amazing tunes coming out but so far this year ive been dissipointed!!!! and while im having a rant why does every 1 rave on about wilkinson and moonwalker i just dont get it?????

The tech scene is exploding with big releases at the moment. Basher EP is huge release imo also. I think its been a good year so far

I kinda agree we hav'nt had any Machete or Mr Happy releases that everybody has got on the bandwagon I do feel we have had some great releases tho still.

I can't believe [prefferred subgenre] has gone shit! I remember when [tune] came out on [label] way back in [year]. Now that was real music! It's a shame [artist] isn't producing music like [they] used to. At least it's not as bad as [another subgenre], [artist] tunes have just gone off the boil, they're too [commercial/experimental] we need more tunes like [tune from kmag top 100].

I dunno guys.. theres been loads of awesome releases. I admit the scene isnt like it used to be since the whole mp3 thing but also on a good note alot of smaller producers get noticed. cursa, emperor, kung etc.. these guys wouldnt have got a look in afew years back unless backed by a massive record label. Music as a whole is fresher! I guess its just cause major labels hold back there music for soo long (looking at you neosignal) that your bored of it by the time it hits so everyone looks beyond their releases etc etc..

I do kinda agree, we are deffo lacking shelve life atm.. There are big tunes coming out for sure but they wont stay big for long. Quite sad actually coming to think of it. Dubstep anyone :teeth: ?

The music has changed... its gone back to its roots a bit its sounding more and more like the old tech step days all the time. hence why the so called Big tunes like mr happy etc dont fit the bill anymore.

In my eyes it's got better over the past couple of years and long may it continue. Nobody wants to hear another Machete nowadays

I hate when people say there's no tunes everyone is playing like back in the day, tunes that have shelflife... Everyone who had a chance to have it practically were or still are playing Link To The Past, Dreadnaught, Open Page or By Your Side. Obviously the scene got towards more the experimental sound and I personally love how it progressed.

plenty of bangers out there. the scene is damn healthy for new music!

its just personal preference and choice for what you determine to be a banger.

As Wayne said, Program. How anyone can dislike that tune is beyond me, also Regurgitate.
Everything Viper/Audioporn/Mainframe are putting out at the moment is incredible.
Brookes Bros album kills it.
Enei- Cracker, nothing needs to be said.
If you like your jump up the new OS and friends EP is wicked.
Basher LP, got to be something to your taste on there!
Everything Inside Info is putting out recently has been huge also imo!

and so much more!!! Just search producers you would never have searched before and you will find some gems!!
