When you buy music how much money goes to the producer?

does anyone know how much money goes to producers each time their track gets sold?

im gunna guess about 30p

and is it the same for vinyl, cd, mp3...?

I have no idea of the percentage but its gonna be less for mp3 than vinyl but then there are no production or distribution costs so that will sort of cancel it out.
Also the label and then the shop/ digital store will take their cut which I think is about 50%.

for a digital release the producer usually gets around 50% after the 15% is taken off from the site distributing
