matey who sits next to me at work jus got back from prague on thursday. he said it was quality, the price of alcohol is ridiculous apparently, £5 each between 5 of em got them about 10 rounds apparently lol (might of been a slight exageration but still will be pretty damn cheap). and yea the buildings/architecture is meant to be amazing.

Thing with that is, you don´t have to go to prague to see some nice buildings..I mean every country has this..except Belgium :teeth: <- (which is clearly a lie)

ye speaks the truth!! Place is beautiful! lots to see and do!! hotel i stayed in was reasonable, but everything else there is cheap as you like!!! so many random bars dotted everywhere all with tasty beers!!! just stay away from restaurants/bars near or around the bridge, they'll sting ya!!! Kutna hora (the bone church) is a must, £2 return on the train!! i say go, you won't regret it!! plus there be some random law there where you can buy/toke weed in late night bars legally! thats what they told me when i bought some over the bar anyways. everyone was at it!!!

One of my good mates toured europe and he said when he was in prague he found it hard to leave!
hes currently saving to go live over there for a few years, he says its one of the best places hes ever been!

You may not be interested in the place, but Germany is incredible aswell, years ago i was in a band and we were fortunate enough to get booked over there, we had an all expenses paid trip.. all the german people are really friendly but pretty much insane lol and theres a big drum n bass scene over there if you know where to look! (i didnt and i ended up at hardstyle germany)

the night life never finishes, your body clock gets so messed up its unreal!!!

I went to an event they have once a year (im trying to remember the name), its on two floors, the bottom floor a massive arena where everyone is dressed up and getting completely HAMMERED, and a top floor, full of beds lined up side to side so you can basically go and have a shag or a sleep..

its a remarkable site believe me, SHIT loads of germans in fancy dress all knockin boots or passing out on each other! brilliant!

hope you have a good time where ever end up going fella!

^^^ lol :D sounds like a good story. germany can be jokes if you know were to go etc, can be a pile of utter shit tho if youre in the wrong place (bavaria and the east in general except berlin and leipzig :D) - id go to prague tho if i was karl.

hotels are cheaper than in the netherlands i tell you, lol. wont cost you a fortune id say, dunno tho, been there last time when they hadnt had the euro yet, so prices could have increased.

wanted to go back there ever since aswell!

Prague is ace…..i went last year with the GF. Some brilliant bars, cheap beer (between 50p and 1.50 for a pint of really nice ale), public trransport is £6 for 24 hours use of trains/buses/trams etc etc, some great clubs too!

i stayed in hotel Nabucco, a 4star hotel. paid £150 for 3 nights B&B for both of us.......

yeah it is a real nice city.

i have been twice and in the space of about 2-3 years the prices increased a hell of a lot. about a year and a half since I last went so not too sure what the prices are like now, but anyway, it is still pretty cheap generally, as long as you don't go to stupid places. the food is so good as well
