Just curious lol
Bassman over Turbulence, That was it after that i was hooked
i really cant remember. might of been a tune from noisia but i cant be sure for certain.
not JUST 1 track got me following dnb .. like alot of us "older" forum users we have all followed a pathway of natural music progression ...
i started buying music around 82 when i was 12 (ie) electro / street sounds stuff ,... around 88/89 i was doing pirate radio around slough / windsor / high wycombe and playing hip hop , but i found early house then acid house n hip house .. this progressed into the rave culture , then jungle then dnb ,... i brought in also 1999 / 2002 alot of breakstep 2step sound ... until i worked at CLUB HOME in london that i found dark drum tribal house and ever since then i spose ive dedicated alot of my music listening down to both tribal house n dnb as you know it ........ i prefer nowerdays the more chill liqweed beats over the jump up RAH party hard stuff ...
Im not so into the dnb scene as i once was .... the scene has changed alot , some for the good some for the bad .. but hay that a whole different subject
For me I think it was racing green from high contrast....
Ok hence the influence tag I acknowledged which thus means anything... So for you and your OLDER friends read the post before posting a reply so immature.

What the fuck?
Now why couldn't you have said just that in the first place,, PENDULUM is a local act for me,, cheers for being civil.... CHUMP.
I obviously knew d&b and listened to it a tiny bit before then, but I think TC- Rockstar really got me into it hahaha. I remember someone playing it in the car on the way to NASS and it just fitted the moment of being 15 or something and feeling like a badman in this ridiculously posh Merc my mate was driving at the time (garage breakdown replacement car), beers in hand and spliffs out the window.
Good memories. I still rinse that tune with Mr. Happy and stuff once in a while for the kicks.
I'm pretty sure my spelling is correct so you comment is unclear to me. My best advice is grab an Oxford.
go wash your vagina out, it seems to be full of sand.
Awesome thanks Dagz
Dude thanks for the reply
Tc rockstar did it for me aswell, and also the fact that I could make what I like or feeling at the time
I had never herd of drum and bass, or listen to a song before in my life. But this really hot girl ask me to go with a club with her back in 2001 maybe. I paid three dollars to get in. I could of given of shit less who was playing because I hated what I thought was eletronic music. And then all of sudden, this crazy beat comes and these crazy bass noises I have never herd of started to play. I was in awe. The most amazing novel thing sense I was a child began to happen. I listen and watched. By the en of the night I would always remember D.J. Zinc. And how that night change my life.
