Im more of a Drum and Bass head so maybe im wrong but does anyone still make grime like this anymore?

(I know some of this grime can be considered Dubstep but bare in mind Dubstep did come from Grime and dark Garage anyway)

When I search for new grime tracks on youtube and Grime blogs and forums all I can find is UK Hip hop... Isn't grime ment to be a filthy sublow garage reject genre? What the hell happened to the complex snare beats and sublow electric basslines?

I wouldnt say Dubstep came from Grime, Grime and Dubstep were created around the same time its just Dubstep took a little longer to get a name and establish its self.

Anyway, in answer to your question I'm guessing everyone realised Grime is wank and started listening to Dubstep

used to lisen to grime in the years of 2003-05 as the likes of sidewinder, battle of mcs etc were wiked. tunes were good and a small miniority of the mcs were decent smashin up some good lyrics
