I listen to a lot of amature producers. I feel it is like professional production. A whole lot of shit mixed in with some great stuff. The sad part is when I go back listening to some big names I am not as impressed as I used to be. I think to myself a lot "Man is this track bland, but fuck it is mixed well."

I know what you mean. A lot of 'big' tunes are boring when listening to them all the way through whilst at home or on the move.

Couldn't give a shit these days, if its good it's good. Not so much of the really minimal stuff though (i do love it dont get me wrong) but if i want a minimal chilled vibe theres plenty of non drum and bass stuff that can do it far better for me
