    Hi guys,

Im looking to buy some decent speakers for my decks. Just for bedroom use. Not looking to spend over £250.

What do you guys recommend for somthing which is active, sounds decent and has some good bass.

    Thanks!

Spend it on hifi speakers, monitors are almost pointless if you're only spending £250.

definitely, but reference subs to match your monitors are well expensive.

Not necessary. Ive been getting on fine for 2 years without a sub.. And for the KRK sub you're looking at £300. Would be sick to have but definitely not necessary

Proper hifi speakers will do just fine.
    At least they do here.
    Invest in a proper mixer.

Terrible monitors. Power supplies burn out and the amp boards aren't much better. KRK's would be better but just for mixing i'd pick up a pair of B&W or QEF, something along those lines. Studio monitors are for production.

Kef or B&W would be my advice check out ebay. If you want loads of bass look for a speaker that is ported with a good sized driver although with a budget of £250 you may be hard pushed to get both o. These look pretty nice and they would defintelt sound nicer than the krk's, they soundpretty nasty those monitors although the krk8's are better. Pick up and amp that is match to the speaker wattage and yourgood to go
