    having just downloaded VLC and heard the difference in audio quality what say you lot..are teh any others that are
    a) very stable for long periods
    b) sound good

    Winamp is good cos it trys to reconnect whereas VLC will start running on bootup and sounds much much better ...so any others I shoudl check out ( other than windows media real player)

    I use VLC and BSplayer, VLC standardly but sometimes it starts to bitch and then I use BS

    Old skool winamp for audio.. VLC or Media Player Classic for video

    I like windows media player because its gapless playback, so its great for those cut up sets
