from 3.17 can anyone tell me the name of the effect used on the speech, the sliced/detuned sort of sound

simple.

the vocal is just cut up into tiny pieces and copy n pasted with some pitch adjustment in certain slices. Obviously alot more time needs to be spent to get it like that but in general, its how id do it

Yea iv done something similar to that in the past, just slicing it up.
Iv heard the effect used quite alot and i was wondering if there was something more to it
