Hello!

Try to sum up wot dnb mean to u in a short ish paragraph...i am doing the same for uk hip hop on other websites ...and yes, this is for the mag. it is an idea we had last night and we are seeing what happens.....

so as intelligently as possible sum it up.....

this might turn out to be really wanky and i wont use it but it could be cool....lets jus' see. eh?

FUCKING EVERYTHING its the onlything i look forward to other than football and shit dnb is a big part of my life fuk any other music dnb is the shit :twitchy:

Exactly, it means everything to me, couldnt imagine a world without it. And if there was none, I'd invent it. All I think about is dnb, all I talk about is dnb and all I listen to is either dnb, or it has some impact to how I think about it, everything else influences my style as a DJ and (will do) as a producer.

What DnB means to me is a long story, but lets just say ive lost a fair few females because of it...Most important thing in my life ..unless my son is visiting :)

you made the right choice friend
all my girls get converted, or at least they pretend !

I thought hip hop was my life until I discovered jungle. 12 years later, and its in my blood; I need it for hype, for peace, for socialising, for smoking, distraction or concentration.

Yeah always thougt metal was my life (well it was )then i heard Charly by The Prodigy and its all progressed from there and im glad to still love the music now even more than when i first heard it :)

its my life....
if i go a day without it i go mad. its what keeps me balanced. its not dnb specifically but rathermusic and dnb just happens to be the most versitle, easy listening dance-floor-smashing energetic form of the art.
plus you can't beat the people in the scene with anything else.

Its had a massive impact on my life. Some of my best ever memories have been at raves. There's so much in dnb to keep me interested. Theres something in the dnb spectrum to suit almost any occasion. Theres the excitement of the new tunes comin out all the time, and theres so many tunes that have an excellent shelf life and i still love listenin to rangin from the dnb comin out early 2000 onwards going right back the old jungle tunes. Great music, great ravers, great scene :lighter:

everything...dnb is always there for me...to cheer me up, chill me out, pump me up, it makes my heart smile :rasta:

The muzik of the bass drum is for me like a pumping loud noise in your head. like for when the rain is falling and it goes BOOM BOOM BOOM in your face. I only work at day and play the funky beat of fast drum to all the girl of brazil at other times and it is GOOD.

Im from the states,in a small shit town...It was either hip hop, country twang or metal.I chose the metal side...now I find myself driving up to three hours to Baltimore to see my favorite DJs/producers from all around the globe.I finally found what was missing in my life...Drum&bass...Big up US CREW!
