    if u goto a gym what weight do u benchpresswith
    i do 3sets of 10reps with 65 kg atm but i havent been gym in ages
    i use free weights because machines are shit and do not benifit u as much

    I dont really go to the gym, but i met a girl who was 112 lbs and picked her up no problems...

    lol i havnt the courage to bench press cos i think i might fuck it up, so i stick to machines, do 60kg on the bicep press machine and like 80kg on abs machine where u bring your arms together

    I never do weights, but had a go on my mates before and benched 75kg 5 times.

    I have a good level of natrual strength.

    i used to bench with a skateboard , now those benches are sat on my chav kids smoking weed and drinking cat piss in a can ... how times are a changing ....
     
  7. 240KG for 5 reps.
    Because i do MMA i don't lift as heavy all the time. I tend to go 75% of my max and do 12-15 Reps but stay cut for fighting.
    You're doing ok though mate - keep it up.
    If you want to get stronger - try eating protien every 3 hours with some carbs and keep lifting heavy regularly

    thnx yeah i would but im skint n my mum wont get me all that shit...also were ive got school and football im too tired then i endup losing my routine which fucks me up

    im gunna start going gym again with my mates though they play rugby for harlequins u18s so il endup getting help from them lol

    good luck with your ma though..if u have a fight do u have dnb as your entrance music lol:rambo:

  11. I used to be in to body building in a bit way but now i fight i dropped a load of weight but kept alot of my strength. I've trained weights for over 8 years. I don't like the body builder look anymore....Muscular athletic is a better look and better for MMA.

    good on ya, obviously takes a lot of dedication and hard work.

    better to be trim and not carrying so much bulk if you're fighting, for the sake of speed and stamina.

    I used to look like Bruce Lee, wire and muscles... a year ago a tummy appeared and when I started doing weights and crunches again, it got worse. Aargh. I'm switching to yoga. My BMI is a 1% overweight... and it used to be almost perfect.

    I can bench press about 70kg but hey, it's all about speed. Also you said if you wanna get stronger you should do proteins? Doesn't that shit make you slower? It's all rye bread for me man that's where the STRENGTH comes from. White bread is not bread it's bun. Used to do a little bit boxing before and while in Japan and was the gym's hardest hitter. Also jiu-jitsu for over 2 years.
