Since we're pretty much officially past halfway through this decade, what could we call modern day classics?
Here's what I think could fit in:
    DC Breaks - Swag
Noisia - Friendly Intentions / Dustup / Dead Limit
    The Upbeats - Diffused
Audio - Headroom VIP / Collision
The Prototypes - Pop It Off (feat. Mad Hed City)
Icicle - Dreadnaught (feat. SP:MC) / Phace Remix
Rene LaVice - Where My Ladies At
    Silent Witness - Being Human
    Ulterior Motive - M I R / Tape Pack
    Emperor - SMPL
Mefjus - Suicide Bassline / Blame You / Precursor Remix
    Mind Vortex - Gravity
June Miller - Empathy / Bad Brains
    Hazard - Time Tripping
Ivy Lab - Live On Your Smile
Jubei & Marcus Intalex - Tip The Scales
    Enei - Obsession (feat. DRS)
Mutt - Conversations (Rene LaVice & Gremlinz Remix)

This is a fucking hard task but I'd disagree with most stuff posted bar Dreadnaught and Time Tripping. Obsession was kind of the start for that pair but I'd put in Coun To Ten. Ivy Lab set new levels before Live On Your Smile it's debatable but IMO Oblique paved the way and should be there. None of the Mefjus's tracks you mentioned come close to Far Too Close. Altho I guess Distantia was what most people tried to copy. There's only one track to mention from Rene LaVice and that's the one below which set his standard.

    Icicle - Dreadnaught
Stray, Sabre & Halogenix - Oblique
Enei - Count To Ten (Feat. DRS)
    Mefjus - Far Too Close
    Hazard - Time Tripping
Jubei - Patience (needs to be in there, set Jubei on the map put alot of people into the more deeper/rolling stuff)
Audio - Headroom (not that I'm a fan but I'd say it's a classic in the harder range)
Loadstar - Link To The Past (think about the tousand of copies that came after, for example Whip Slap)
Lenzman & Riya - Open Page
LSB - The View (Feat. Tyler Daley & DRS)
    Rene LaVice - Headlock
Dub Phizix & Skeptical - Marka
Noisia - Stigma (not a massive fan here either but it's far more of a classic then the ones you mentioned)
Spectrasoul - Light In The Dark
    SPY - By Your Side

Just a few tunes of the top of my head. There's surely a massive amount of cheesy and midrange noise stuff as well like: Rusko - Everyday (Netsky Remix) that I didn't mention but people loved and still do and probably would be consider classic of this decade.

Frederic Robinson - Mixed Signals (Synkro Remix)
    Kove - Melisma
    Dimension - Love To Me
Enter Shikari - Anaesthetist (Reso Remix)
    4AM - Wanted (Chords Remix)
    Alix Perez - Acid Jam
Kideko - The Jam (Brookes Brothers Remix)
Oliver Heldens - Gecko (Matrix & Futurebound Remix)
Brookes Brothers - Carry Me On

Damn it's pretty hard to find the best tune of a whole decade. I guess the tunes i just listened all came out this year or 2014... well

    Decade?

I can't even think of one...

Because quite a few decent tunes came out years ago and I can't remember what they are.

A couple of decent tunes were released this year as well

    Here's mine:
Spectrasoul - Light in the dark (already been mentioned but such a great tune!)
    Dimension - Whip Slap
Hazard and distorted minds - Mr Happy (I know this will get hate but how many times have you heard this being dropped? Is a classic and a guilty pleasure lol)
Hazard - Time Tripping (again mentioned before but remember the first time I heard it in fabric, was the first tune that I waited like 2 years to get lol)
D-Bridge and Vegas - True Romance (surprised not mentioned already)
Noisia and the upbeats - Dead Limit
    Sub focus - Timewarp
    Mefjus - Signalz
    Hazard - Bricks don't roll
    Ivy Lab - Forex

this list is not necessarily my favourite tunes from the past decade but the tunes I have heard played out the most off the top of my head!

No doubt it's a great tune but more of a progression of what he already did in 08 / 09. I'd mention Xenomorph on Headz. Now I will never know what did exist before what but to me it had that kind of "Patience" vibe Jubei built and it's exactly one of these tunes that are part of that wave.
You could argue Favela maybe it was a special tune but we're talking about classics here so I'd say (altho I'm not a big fan) if any SPY track than it has to be By Your Side. Definitely good shout will add it to my list.

I'm not that bold to mention the tunes from the last 2 years, but here's a few:

Culture Shock - Troglodyte (arguably the most played out tune from the last 5 years)
InsideInfo & Mefjus - Mythos (close second)...can't believe those weren't mentioned in first 6 posts tbh
    Hazard - Time Tripping
Noisia & The Upbeats - Dustup
    Icicle feat. SP:MC - Dreadnaught
Technicolour & Komatic - The Glow
Loadstar - Link To The Past
Calyx & TeeBee - Elevate This Sound
Sabre, Stray & Halogenix feat. Frank Carter III - Oblique
    DC Breaks - SWAG

    Mefjus - Far Too Close
Enei, EastColors & Noel - Cracker
    Netsky - Memory Lane
    S.P.Y - By Your Side
Die & Break - Slow Down
Camo & Krooked - All Night
DRS feat. Enei - Count To Ten

I'd say out of all of those lists, @Fallen.GeMiNi 's list is the one I agree most with, but I'd also include:

Spectrasoul - Alibi (or Break's remix, whichever)
Logistics - Together (really surprised no one mentioned this, or anything by Logistics yet to be honest)
    Total Science & S.P.Y - Legion
    Emperor - Monolith
    Blu Mar Ten - Whisper

EDIT: Just realised it was this decade, so that's all of those tunes out of the list I think. :teeth:

Good shout with Troglodyte, Mythos & Elevate This Sound. Mythos is probably more of a classic then Far Too Close. Cracker was definitely a track that a wide range of people played but I'm not sure if heads across would consider it a classic? for me personally it is. If you mention All Night then your list is missing some Subwave. Huge trancey/electro build up - drop into something very minimal, he basically established that kind of style in my eyes.
There's just so many tracks and so many artists. It's a fucking huge task to come up with a list from the last 5 years one would consider classics.

Loadstar - Link To The Past
Calyx & TeeBee - Elevate This Sound
Sabre, Stray & Halogenix feat. Frank Carter III - Oblique

Dub Phizix & Skeptical feat. Strategy - Marka
    S.P.Y - By Your Side
Die & Break - Slow Down
Camo & Krooked - All Night
DRS feat. Enei - Count To Ten

Troggy and Detroit are the stand-out tunes from a club perspective, still doing damage on a regular basis. Loads of great tunes mentioned already, other tunes I'd add are:

    Lynx - Chessfunk
Culture Shock - City lights (Original dub)
Break feat Calyx and Teebee - Don't look Down
Jubei feat SP:MC - State of the Art
    Majistrate - Bombaclart
Calyx and Teebee - Pure gold
DJ Marky and S.P.Y - Mystic sunset
    Billain - Colossus
    Rockwell - The Rain
    Technimatic - Night Vision
Hybrid Minds - Halcyon feat Grimm
    Calibre - Even if
    Levela - Ecstasy love VIP
    Icicle - Arrows

Break & Die - Slow Down
    Calibre - Even If
    Dave Owen - Still Waters
Ed Rush * Optical - Chubrub
    Jubei & Dbridge - Patience / Alignment
Lenzman & Riya - Open Page
Octane DLR & Survival - Transition
    Siren - Snorkel
    Hazard - Proteus
    Dom & Roland - Flux
    Loxy & Resound - COnqueror X
Dub Phizix & Skeptical - Marka
    Loadstar - LTTP
    Rockwell - Underpass
    Sabre, Stray, Halogenix - Oblique
SKeptical - Cold One (Jubei remx)

I've just got up to 2013 and I can't be bothered going through my library anymore. Safe to say 2010 - 11 were formative years for me in terms of the sound I always reach back to.

Noted more recent additions include Dustup, Time Tripping, Tell me etc
