I had an afternoon nap today and I had this strange dream :rolf:

It's one of those dreams where you don't remember everything, but this is what I do remember:
  • There was a Drum & Bass party at my house
  • Some DJ was on first, can't think who
  • Then Fresh was sitting in my lobby waiting to go on, and he heard one of my tunes playing and clocked my name. I approached him and said 'Hi I'm sdm', then he said it's cool to give him a demo
  • When Fresh went on the decks, Andy C turned up to play, he was also waiting in my lobby, sitting on the floor I might add
  • Then pretty much everyone vanished for some reason, I walked up my driveway and I saw Andy in his car, and Fresh getting into his 'VW Beetle'
  • So I thought Andy hasn't played yet, Fresh said when I poked my head through the window, 'the numbers are too low' and they both drove off
  • Then I woke up..
WTF is that about ha ha!

Thx for being in my dreams guys  :teeth:

Apparently...dreams are meant to mean things. It's your sub-conscious mind trying to tell you something. Whilst your mind isn't trying to tell you that Fresh and Mr C are going to play at your house, there are elements that you should look at. For instance: The Beetle (or car) for a fact means something; Someone you respect sitting on the floor will do too and additionally things like parties also bring in other things.......

If you look around the net you'll find a site, and be able to link all these things, and, whether you believe all the dream-teller mumbo-jumbo or not it's always quite interesting to find out what it 'means'. Then you can see if it actually happens, get freaked out and start believing in it all. Have fun! :teeth:

P.S. Sorry I don't know what any of them ACTUALLY mean, but there are places which do - sounds a bit stupid writing that all these things mean SOMETHING. But they do!

There are too many theories on dreams, but Freud originally said that dreams are your unconscious pushing through. Freud says that certain objects in your dreams are linked to real life emotions/events/cognitive thoughts... (like gibber said). So that would mean a train going through a tunnel would link with sex, but that's the problem with Freud... he realtes everything to sex!

Other psychologists have said that it's just your brain sorting out the events that have happened during the day, or things that you have consciously thought about.

!!! Make of it what you will !!!

Dreams are crazy. Did you know that your dreams occur right before you wake up? You usually don't dream when your in a deep sleep. R.E.M. (Rapid Eye Movement).

Have you ever had those dreams that your falling? If you fall and die in your dream, you will go brain dead supposedly and pretty much die. So try and wake yourself up before you hit the ground. Another common dream is the one's when your in a fight, and you can't throw punches. It seems like your hands are glued to your sides. I hate that shit! 'Scissorlock' is another weird situation. If you go to bed with your fingers crossed on both hands, you will wake up with your hands holding opposite shoulders, like a mummy.

Just some weird shit people have told me abut dreams. Shit's eerie.

Reason you can't throw punches is due to the fact that when you dream you don't move any of your muscles apart from your organs and your eyes as you would obviously fall out of bed/hurt yourself, whatever!

Sorry I do psychology at college lol I'm so sad! Never heard of that scissorlock I might try it but I fidgit too much haha :1:
