Apart from going on this froum - how do you waste time at work?

I have most boring easiest job and need suggestions.

My newest time waster is to go and make a cuppa tea; whilst it is brewing, go for a pee and then go back to making your tea. That wastes another 4 mins.

If i do that 6 times a day thats about 1/2 gone :)

searching for dnb on the internet... spend days doing it! youtube is great as it recomends videos, so i just keep getting led on a trail by the recomendations, then look up the artists /tracks and see what i can find!

that is a very good plan but my work blocks the following -

fb, myspace, youtube, pocast sites, online radios, game sites, play.com, so im left with google news and dnbforum

I'm a coder so when I get bored at work I just crack on with a side project, like my radio ripper or the iPhone game I'm writing (which is fucking hard on Windows).

Other than that, News sites, DNBForum, MSN, Read a few good blogs (are some good ones out there if you look)

I personally get a lot from reading http://devilskitchen.me.uk/, but it might not be the kind of thing you like.

Devil's Kitchen is a great starting point, the blogs he links are very regularly updated and full of extremely well informed and researched content.

Like I say it all comes down to personal preference, but I'm fairly politically motivated and it's the sort of thing I like to read.

Go for a kip in a strong room (i work in a legal deeds and records office, strong rooms all over the place)
Nip to the pub for a quick 5/10 minute pint
Go down by the Thames for a zoot
Walk down stairs instead of using lifts
Internet obviously, i'm on the net more then i work

Watch Sky News/Sports News in the restaurant in the basement

When I used to work as a life guard it was half hour on pool side, half hour off, those half hours off were used to take mini naps in the first aid room on the 1st aid bed.. A coupla times I'd been sleeping and the door had flown open with bleedin kids running in lol
