ez alll u may hav heared an earlier version of this but iv managed to hook my laptop to my monitors using my mixer so im wondering what the mixdown sounds like cos i cant tell if its coming through flat through my mixer, i need to direct it straight through really.

I Went for a chilled liquid track nothing too heavy with some piano fills and a nice bassline.

let me know what you think, its greatly appreciated!!

And if you want a 320 then just let me know.

    thanks

Ohw yeah, really liking this ! the track it self sounds really quiet imo, I had to turn up my volume a lot .. but when I turned it up , everything in the mixdown sounded right..
Bass is beautiful, piano to... nothing more to say besides big up !

i think the snare could be layered abit more , all it sounds like is white noise at the minute , also i think some of the bass isn't in key with the rest of the track.

i like the piano which could do with some low cut reverb on there so the hi's are carried on about more.

apart from that , your beats got potential!
    hope that helps

yeah i agree with u on the snare, it was winding me up a treat couldnt get it sounding right, when iv got a bit more knowledge then i think ill try and sort it, thats a good idea for the piano.

I know the exact part you're on about with the bass.. thought it sounded slightly off but left it.
    thanks for listenin man!

    I'm using reason 4 mate.
i have a few qualisers on the snare, double layered up with 2 samples, maybe i should change one of em.
piano is done through nnxt i think.

damn , i have no idea howto use reason but you want the snare to hit several frequencies to give it that pop , i mean you have the bottom layer of the snare at the minute because it has a nice release and tail on it , you want to put more of a rim shot or a quick burst with a fast attack to give it that punch , an idea would be to use the same snare but to be transposed up a little and put on top ?
