Wanna give me some advice?

I would like to start producing, but can't seem to find anywhere that will tell me how to go about starting. Like what software/hardware, I need (+cost etc). I just need somethings to get me going. I dont wanna spend too much either. So if you all could help me out, I would be very greatfull

Had a look at some of the links, but they don' t seem to be for the begginger producer. I will just have to try and pick things up and see how i go
