I downloaded the latest Voxegno Elephant Limiter (3.6), for free from this link >
    http://voxengo-elephant.findmysoft.com/download/

Obviously free downloads are dodgy anyway, but I've found that every now and then (intermittently), the limiter just cuts out completely. I'm not clipping, I'm not overloading the gain input stage. Could this be a case of a shitty plug-in that I should get rid of? Has anyone had this experience with this particular limiter..?
I think it's a decent product, and I need a mastering limiter big time. It'd be a shame to get rid of it, but the way it's behaving renders it pretty much useless.
Any recommendations for a decent brickwall limiter?? (preferably free)

It's not a free software blud. You're using the demo i think. It's built in as a demo limitation I'd figure.

yeah... That's what I was thinking. Dunno if I can really afford to spunk $129.95/£83 on this... But it's essential!
Anyway, do you use it by chance?

Haha, well to be fair... I have bought it now and it was a limitation in the software as presumed by Kama (cheers) that was causing the sound to drop out every now and then. I didn't realise that you could download any plug-in from Voxengo and use it, you just need to pay for that pesky registration code.
Suppose it was worth it, I can master in peace now. :)
