    Sounds just like the "Robotttt" bit at the end of that Bassnectar tune! Can't remember the name of the song...

    Ummm, I am not an expert at all with Vocoders and do know different ones can do different things but I would suggest trying out different synth sounds. That would make quite a difference to the sound of the Vocoder?

    Classic tune. Sounds like a typical vocoder. What DAW are you using? Logic's vocoder is top notch and can definitely recreate this type of sound.
